UAC expects to occupy 25-30% of global transport aviation market

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) expects to occupy 25-30% of global transport aviation market, the vice-president of UAC, Oleg Demchenko, reported at MAKS-2011. AEX.ru

As for the state program in the area of arms, Demchenko noted that the transport aviation is widely presented in it. For example, the following jets are included in the program: Il-76, Аn-124, Аn-70 and МТА.

Demchenko has also reported that the number of light transport aircraft made in Russia during period until 2025 will be 200-300 ones, medium transport aircraft – up to 100, short-takeoff and landing cargo aircraft – up to 100, heavy transport aircraft - 240 and heavy long-range aircraft – up to 30.

The base enterprise for production of transport aircraft will be Ulyanovsk aviation plant and some aircraft will be manufactured in cooperation with VASO.
