IFC has signed an agreement of intent on acquisition of Bombardier CSeries aircraft

17 august 2011, MAKS-2011 - Ilyushin Finance & Co leasing company and Bombardier Aerospace have signed an agreement of intent on acquisition of three Bombardier CS100s and seven CS300s, with an option on 10 additional aircraft (in the same ratio by models) and purchase rights for ten more CSeries liners. «We believe that Bombardier CSeries aircraft will meet all the advanced requirement of civil aviation and the demand for them will be high among the carriers due to aircraft’s technical and economical characteristics. We are glad to become the launch customer of these aircraft in Russia», - said CEO of IFC, Alexander Rubtsov.

«It is an important milestone for Bombardier Aerospace and CSeries program. IFC agrees that the operation of СSeries aircraft has a potential to bring quality changes of passenger transportation both on global market and in Russia», - said Bombardier Commercial Aircraft senior vice-president, Chet Fuller.
