International aerospace show (MAKS) will be taking place in Zhukovsky from August 16^th till August 21st. More than 100 Russian participants and 30 foreign ones will take place in the show. Besides Russian and foreign manufacturers, the air forces of Russia, USA, France and Italy will take place in the show.

 

"The innovative vehicles of American air forces (A-10 strike-fighter, transport C-5 Galaxy aircraft and P-3C anti-submarine aircraft) will be demonstrated at the show for the first time", — said one of the show’s organizers.

 

Russian Sukhoi holding company will demonstrate the flight of two fifth-generation fighters to a general public for the first time. The multi-role Su-35 fighter, Su-30 bomber, Su-32 multi-role fighter and passenger SuperJet SSJ-100 aircraft will perform flights at MAKS.

 

MiG Corporation will demonstrate a two-seated version of MiG-35D frontline fighter, MiG-29K ship-based fighter, MiG-29M2 and MiG-29M fighters, MiG-29SM multi-role frontline fighter and its one-seated modification - MiG-29SМТ.

 

Among the other Russian manufacturers, which will take part in the show, are: Tupolev, Ilyushin, Irkut, Myasishchev Design Bureau, Kazan Helicopter Plant, Mil Aviation Plant, Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant, Kamov, Gromov Flight Research Institute, etc. Among the foreign participants are: French Airbus, "Aircraft Industry", Antonov, Boeing and others. The jets, helicopters, UAVs will be demonstrated at the show as well as historical aircraft.

 

Nikolay Zanegin, Deputy Director General on exhibition activities of Aviasalon Company said that the legendary aerobatic teams Russian Knights, Strizhi and Russian Falcons will be taking part in the show. Russian Helicopters Holding Company, Rus’ aerobatic team and Baltic aerobatic team "Baltic Bees" intend to demonstrate a wide program.

 

According to him, the exhibition will be impressive this year since all the leading Russian enterprises of aerospace industry and some foreign companies will be taking part in it.
