Airbus, Goodrich and VSMPO-AVISMA, Russian manufacturer of titan, have signed a long-term agreement on deliveries of titan, Airbus reports. AEX.ru
The Russian company will supply the titan raw parts for the main landing gear of A350-1000 in the network of this contract until 2020.

The developer and supplier of landing gear is Goodrich, which has a wide experience in production of landing gears using state-of-the-art technologies and materials, such as heavy duty titan alloys, created by the specialists of VSMPO. The VSMPO’s share in the deliveries of titan raw parts for landing gear will be 100%.

In addition, the possibility of titan production’s machining on VSMPO-AVISMA is also considered for the purpose of integrated supply chain’s creation, beginning from raw material and ending with finished products.
