The United Aircraft Corporation intends to start the creation of National aviation center in Zhukovsky, ITAR-TASS reports. It has been declared by the president of UAC, Mikhail Pogosyan. The concept the center’s creation has been approved by the government.

"We plan to start work on creation of engineering and production capacities here that will accumulate UAC’s activities in different areas. A large number of design and other resources will be concentrated here", - said Pogosyan.

According to Pogosyan, it will be possible to tell about “the date of putting first facilities into operation and the way how the new infrastructure will develop".

"This program has been developed several years ago and it will have a gradual nature. The plan of its implementation is being detailed now. In addition, the Moscow sites will also be restructured", - CEO of UAC noted.
