Domodedovo’s amount of investments in the next ten years will be $1.5-2 billion

Domodedovo’s amount of investments in the next ten years will be $1.5-2 billion, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the airport’s Chairman of the Board, Dmitry Kamenshik.

Thus, the airport’s amount of investments will not change, since its investments during the previous 10 years until 2011 were $1.5 billion.

As noted by the Domodedovo’s Chairman of the Board, the amount of investments in 2011 may be around $200-250 million. Kamenshik added that the airport is using different planning horizons, in particular, master-planning for 50 years and tactical planning for 1, 3 and 10 years.

"There is a model for the period of 10 years – the amount of investments will be $1,5-2 billion", - Kamenshik said. He also added that the airport will invest using its own funds, however, debt financing is also possible at some stages.
