Ivchenko-Progress is developing an engine for aircraft with a passenger capacity of 80-130 seats. CEO of Ivchenko-Progress, Igor Kravchenko, has declared this fact. AEX.ru

«We are currently developing an all-new AI-28 engine. We are actively working through its development together with the airframer. We have already formed the technical requirements for the engine – it is a very important phase, because now we understand which aircraft will be equipped with our engine – these are aircraft with a passenger capacity of 80-130 seats, including An-148», - said Igor Kravchenko. 

«It is an all-new and original engine. According to our estimates, we will complete this program in six years», - he added.
