Ivchenko-Progress will present a new AI-450S turbo-propeller engine at MAKS-2011

CEO of Ivchenko-Progress, Igor Kravchenko, told journalists that they will present a new AI-450S turbo-propeller engine at MAKS-2011. AEX.ru

«We will present a new AI-450S turbo-propeller engine with a capacity of 400 hp at the international aerospace show MAKS-2011. We are assembling this engine at the moment. It will be shown at MAKS for the first time», - said Kravchenko.

«Also it is noteworthy that there are no turbo-propeller engines of such capacity in Russia and Ukraine»,- he noted.

In addition, according to Igor Kravchenko, the company will present a line-up of AI-406 engines and some helicopter engines at MAKS.
