UAC has elected the Chairman of the Board and approved the innovative development program

The Board of Directors of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has elected Vladimir Alexandrovich Dmitriev (Chairman of Vnesheconombank State Corporation) Chairman of the Board, the company reports. AEX.ru

The Board of Directors has also approved the innovative development program of UAC. This program has been developed in accordance with an instruction of the president of Russian Federation from January 4^th 2010.

The implementation of innovative development program will help the corporation achieve goals stipulated by its Development strategy – to make UAC third largest aircraft manufacturer and provide competitive level of aircraft development and production.

In addition, the program is aimed at forming a system of key industry competencies reproduction, training of qualified personnel and transfer of technologies to the adjacent industries.

«The positions of Russia as a state capable of independently meeting all its demands in aircraft will be kept by performing all this work», - UAC stated.
