Soyuz rocket carrier has been successfully launched with American satellites from Baikonur Cosmodrome

The rocket carrier “Soyuz-2.1a” with “Fregat” upper stage and six “Globalstar-2” satellite vehicles intended for the like-named American communication system has been successfully launched today from the 31st pan of the Baikonur Cosmodrome’s launching site by crews of Roscosmos’ enterprises at 06.27.04 Moscow time, Roscosmos (Federal Space Agency of the Russian Federation) reports. AEX.ru

 
After leading out at the final orbit the six “Globalstar-2” satellite vehicles have been placed under the customer’s management. 

The Soyuz-2.1a rocket carrier has been manufactured by one of the leading Roscosmos’ enterprises - SRPSRC “TsSKB-Progress”. Combined with the “Fregat” upper stage, the rocket is intended for placing space vehicles into different kinds of orbits, the agency noted.
