Viktor Khristenko has held a meeting with Switzerland’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Johan Schneider-Amman. The Swiss delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Trade of Switzerland and also representatives of several large companies from the area of machine industry, pharmacy, financial sector, etc., the Ministry reports. The business of the day included items of development of economic cooperation between Russia and Switzerland, widening the range of priority areas and increasing the trade and investments volumes.
«We have a lot of areas. We are interested in deepening our contacts with Switzerland in all of them», - Viktor Khristenko noted. – «At present we have accepted long-term strategies of industry development in twelve areas, including aircraft industry, automotive industry, chemical industry, pharmacy, etc. ». The Minister noted that these documents have been developed in the conditions of close interaction with business and any investor, no matter Russian or foreign company may find some interesting capabilities within the framework of these documents.
«We are interested and open for a dialogue, whether on intergovernmental level or business level», - Viktor Khristenko underlined.
