ТNK-BP and Transaero have signed a long-term agreement on deliveries of aviation fuel. It is aimed at increase of effectiveness of interaction between the companies and strengthening of Russian oil products market’s transparency, the airline reports. AEX.ru

The key clause of the contract is pricing using formula based on European indicative quotations of aviation fuel published by Platts – the world’s leading informational agency in the area of energetics and primary goods.

The usage of Platts index, used as a benchmark by the largest companies at global markets, allows clients of ТNК-ВР to access the wide specter of modern financial instruments, helping them to efficiently decrease risks connected with high volatility of oil and oil products prices.

The services on fuelling the aircrafts of Transaero will be provided by Sheremetyevo fuelling facilities.
