The Board of Directors of Basel Aero, which manages airport assets of Basic Element Company, has elected Sergey Rudakov its new Chairman during the meeting held on June 1st. We remind you that Sergey Rudakov has previously been the CEO of Domodedovo airport. AEX.ru

The head of Basic Element’s aviation directorate, Denis Ilyin, said: «Sergey Rudakov is a well-known professional in the area of airport management. His several years’ standing experience and competence will help the company successfully solve the strategic problems of increasing the Basel Aero’s airports’ efficiency by reconstruction and renewal of their infrastructure, active development of non-aviation related activities and further regional expansion of Basic Element’s airport group.

Sergey Rudakov has graduated from Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation. He has been working on different positions at Domodedovo production association of civil aviation since 1978, starting from technic on radioelectronic equipment and till the first deputy Director Geneal. He has been the CEO of Domodedovo airport from 2000 to 2010.
