The quit of Andrew Pyne has not been confirmed yet. A source close to the airline has told Aviation EХplorer about it. We remind you that RBC Daily has reported earlier that the founder of Avianova, Andrew Pyne, has deserted his post of airline’s managing director after 4 years since he moved to Russia.

The title has reported with reference to a source, close to the airline, that some of his functions will be executed by Konstantin Teterin, an ex-General Director of Red Wings, who has been appointed Deputy Director General on general questions. We remind you that Avianova has spread an official press-release yesterday reporting about Konstantin Teterin being appointed to this position. At the same time, it did not contain any information regarding quit of Andrew Pyne.

According to Aviation EХplorer, the information regarding Andrew Pyne’s quit has not been confirmed yet. In spite of publications by mass-media, Andrew Pyne is still working in Avianova and continues to implement the development course chosen by the airline, the source said. Such discordant information may be caused by an internal tension within the company and possible confrontation between shareholders. If it is true than the investors of Avianova low-cost carrier are to take the final decision.
