The founder of Avianova low-cost carrier has deserted his post of carrier’s managing director after 4 years since he moved to Russia, RBK-Daily reports.
Several sources at the aviation market have reported this fact. According to a source close to the airline, “the carrier’s policy will not change”, some of his functions will be executed by Konstantin Teterin, who has been appointed Deputy Director General on general questions. А1, one of the carrier’s co-owners, did not comment the top-manager’s quit saying that “it is management’s questions”.
As reported by the airline, the main objectives of Konstantin Teterin are “increase of airline’s cost effectiveness in accordance with its strategic targets and development plans». Teterin has been working in the team calculating the business0plan for the first Russian low-cost carrier, but the cooperation did not last: «Alpha Group» has been looking for an investor for a long time and the team has been dismissed. Some of the team’s members have taken part in launch of Sky Express. Teterin himself has denied any comments regarding quit of Pyne, noting that «he has concluded an employment contract with Vladimir Gorbunov, the airline’s CEO».
