The Rosneft oil company is negotiating with Vnukovo-Invest company, a private shareholder of Vnukovo fuelling enterprise, regarding the acquisition of 50% share in the fuelling company, Forbes reports.
A source close to Vnukovo said that the value of this share is, according to a preliminary assessments, about $600 million. A source close to Rosneft has confirmed that the negotiations are in progress, adding that there is no information regarding the price and size of the block.
At present the state company owns only one fuelling enterprise and it is located in Ulan-Bator airport. Ana it is planned to build another two in Russia. The Rosneft’s rivals – Lukoil, TNK-BP and Gazprom neft have much stronger positions at this market.
Vnukovo-invest owns 25% of Vnukovo airport and represents interests of private investors, including Vitaly Vantsev and Lev Kvetnoy.
