State Corporation “The Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)” and United Aircraft Corporation have signed a cooperation agreement on aircraft export and infrastructure projects financing in the network of 49th International airshow in Le Bourget, the VEB’s press-service reports. The document has been signed by the Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev on the part of VEB and by Mikhail Pogosyan on the part of UAC.

The agreement is intended for establishing partnership and longstanding, efficient and mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of VEB taking part in financing of foreign trade contracts on aircraft deliveries, structuring their implementation schemes, financing their production and sales in Russia and foreign countries.

The document also assumes the bank’s participation in investment programs aimed at creation of maintenance centers for carrying out the aircraft’s technical maintenance; the organization of batch production financing for civil, transport and military-transport aircraft with further deliveries to domestic and foreign customers, and also the organization of financing for prospective investment programs of UAC and its subsidiaries.

According to the agreement, the following aircraft projects are intended for financing: Tu-204SМ, SSJ-100, Аn-148, МS-21.

The agreement’s implementation is aimed at support of export of industrial products and services. This program should help diversify the national export and develop the research-and-development activities.
