A number of problems regarding the enterprise’s activities has been considered during regular meeting of shareholders of Russian Aircraft Corporation MiG. The meeting has rubberstamped the annual account of RAC MiG for 2010 and the enterprise’s annual accounts. AEX.ru
The new Board of RAC MiG has been elected at the meeting. The following persons are now forming part of the Board: Golets Alexander Petrovich, Grishenko Vladimir Vladimirovich, Korotkov Sergey Sergeevich, Mikhailov Vladimir Sergeevich, Mikheev Alexander Alexandrovich, Ozar Igor Yakovlevich, Pogosyan Mikhail Aslanovich, Prutkovsky Vasiliy Borisovich, Slyusar Yuri Borisovich, Tulyakov Alexander Vladimirovich, Fedorov Alexey Innokentievich.
The meeting of shareholders has decided to terminate the authority of MiG’s ex-CEO, Mikhail Pogosyan due to his election as the president of United Aircraft Corporation on February 25th 2011.
Korotkov Sergey Sergeevich has been elected CEO of RAC MiG.
Mikhail Pogosyan has noted: «We have been working with Sergey Korotkov for a long time. I appreciate his work in Sukhoi design bureau, Sukhoi Company and RAC MiG. I am confident that the corporation will successfully continue its development under the guidance of Sergey Korotkov».
Sergey Sergeevich Korotkov was born on June 18th 1959.
He has graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute in 1983 (faculty of aircraft engineering).
After the institute he has started working at Sukhoi Moscow Engineering Plant (now it is the Sukhoi design bureau).
From 1986 till 1988 he has been serving in the Soviet armed forces as an aircraft technician. After that he has returned to Sukhoi Moscow Engineering Plant.
He has started from the position of mechanic engineer and reached the position of chief designer at Sukhoi design bureau. Later he has been appointed the deputy Director General of Sukhoi design bureau and Director for coordination of programs.
As a design engineer he has been taking part in development of Su-25, Su-27, Su-33, Su-30МК, Su-29, Т-60, Su-34. He has been taking part in development and tsting of Su-47 Berkut as the chief designer.
He became the first deputy Director General on programs management of Sukhoi Company in 2003.
He has been appointed the first Deputy Director General if RAC MiG in January 2009.
He is forming part of several aircraft industry enterprises’ Board.
He has been awarded the Order of Honor. He is the Merited Designer of Russian Federation, the author of patents and inventions. Doctor of Science.
He is married and has two sons.
