Federal Agency for State Property Management will offer for sale 25,5% of S7 Airlines’ shares

 Federal Agency for State Property Management will offer for sale 25,5% of S7 Airlines’ shares. The auction on airline’s shares will take place on June 27th, the lot’s initial price is 1,873 billion rubles, RBC reports.

26 126 of airline’s equities with a total nominal value of 26 126 rubles will be put up for auction. The auction step will be 50 million rubles. The auction approval notes are accepted from June 17th till June 20th, the participants of the auction will be defined on June 26th.

The airline’s capital stock is 102 456 rubles, it is divided into equities with a nominal of 1 ruble. According to the airline’s accounting reporting, the total amount of its long-term obligations is 10.3 billion rubles, the short-term ones – 7.8 billion rubles including accounts payable, as of March 31st.

The airline’s main shareholder is S7 Group, which includes Globus airline, S7 Tour, S7 Ticket retail chain for tickets sale, aviation training center S7 Training, aviation maintenance centers S7 Engineering and Sibir-Technics, general sales agent for freight services and S7 Service company.

The control block of shares belongs to Filev family (about 70%), the state owns the blocking shares (25,5%). The State’s intention of selling this block of shares has been unveiled in December 2010 when Sibir has been included in privatization list for 2011-2013.
