A new aerobatic team called May 9th may be created in Russia. The pilots of the teamwill fly Yak-130 aircraft, Vesti.ru reports with reference to Minister of Defence, Anatoliy Serdukov.

"As for creation of additional aerobatic team – we will think about it", - said the Minister today. Serdukov said that it is an “interesting offer” while commenting the possibility of creation of Yak-130 aerobatic team.

We remind you that Yak-130 has been chosen as a basic aircraft for Russian air firces’ pilots training. It is the main component of training system of Russian air forces including an integrated objective control system, educational computer classrooms and different trainers.

The aircraft is intended for training and tactical employment in different meteorological conditions on air and ground targets.
