The international Koltsovo and Nizhny Novgorod airports were the first among regional airports to obtain license for servicing SSJ-100 aircraft and its modifications. Koltsovo airport’s press-service has declared this fact. AEX.ru

The corresponding instructions have been signed by Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia). The international Nizhny Novgorod airport forming part of a holding created at the basis of Koltsovov airport, has approved the first slots for Aeroflot, which plans to start flying from Nizhny Novgorod to Moscow this summer using Superjet.

"One of the main holding’s tasks is creating the necessary conditions for dynamical development of air transportation in Russia", – CEO of Koltsovo airport, Evgeny Chudnovsky notes. – "In this case, the acquisition of license for servicing the new type of jets expands the capabilities of our airline partners. The key Russian carriers intend to operate SSJ-100 and we are ready to provide all the necessary services for them".

International Koltsovo airport has the license for servicing 59 different types of aircrafts. Among them are 8 types of Airbus and their modifications, including the cargo А300В4 aircraft, 6 types of Boeing and their modifications, 3 types of Embraer, 2 types of ATR, 8 types of «Il», 5 types of «Tu», 4 types of «An», 3 types of «Yak», etc.

Nizhny Novgorod international airport has a license for servicing 40 types of aircrafts, for example 5 types of Airbus, 5 types of Boeing, 3 types of Embraer, 2 types of ATR, Fokker, CRJ, Saab, etc.; 7 types of «Il», 4 types of «Tu», 6 types of «An», 2 types of «Yak», all the helicopters and a lot of business-jets.
