Irkut Corporation has published its financial accounting for 2010 prepared in accordance with IFRS. Following the results of 2010, Irkut Corporation’s net profit was $85 546 thousand as compared to a loss of $19 385 thousand in 2009. EBITDA profitability was 5%. The gross profit was $693 882 thousand in 2010 which comprises 42% of the revenues. The gross profit for 2009 was $405 079 thousand (31% of the revenues), the company reports. AEX.ru
The Corporation’s high level of profitability was the result of administrative flexibility, implementation of innovative technologies, decrease of operating costs and usage of Lean-production methods, the company’s representative noted.
Irkut Corporation’s revenues for 2010 were $1 672 650 thousand, which is greater by 27% as compared to $1 313 651 thousand in 2009.
The positive momentum of revenues increase has been showing during the last 5 years. The double growth of Corporation’s revenues has been achieved mostly by increase of export deliveries of Su-30MK fighters.
The Irkut’s backlog includes more than $6 billion as of early 2011.
