Russia and PRC will develop cooperation in the area of civil aircraft industry

Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade has been visited by a delegation from PRC headed by Chief Engineer of Chinese Ministry of Industry and informatization, Chzu Hunzhen. The Russian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Georgy Kalamanov, the ministry reports. AEX.ru

The delegations were formed by the heads of leading aircraft corporations of Russia and PRC.

Several meetings and consultations of experts in the area of civil aircraft industry have been arranged during the negotiations.

The parties have decided to develop and deepen cooperation in the area of civil aircraft industry on the basis of equality and mutual profitability taking into account the possible projects’ commercial feasibility.

The consideration of the main items will be continued during next meeting of subcommittee on questions of cooperation in the area of civil aviation and civil aircraft industry, which will take place in July 2011.
