In this regard, Rosaviatsiya has not sent any recommendations to Russian airlines regarding the cancellation of flights to European airports. Nevertheless, the London-based Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre has issued maps showing the possible ash distributions at different flight levels. In accordance with the received information, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Norway and Finland have issued precautionary aeronautical information for the crews of the aircrafts helping them to avoid possible dangerous zones with high level of ash concentration. Some of the crews are already following this recommendations and chaging their routes.

The air traffic administrations provide additional support for the crews who have changed their routes. At present there were no messages from the crews regarding an encounter of volcanic ash cloud.
