Aeroflot’s net profit following the results of 2010 was $253,2 million by IFRS

Following the results of 2010 the net profit of Aeroflot Group was $253,2 million by IFRS; as compared to 2009, it is higher by 195%, the company reports. AEX.ru

The Group’s revenues have increased by 29% summing $4,319.3 million. The revenues from transportation have increased by 31,3% figuring up to $3,700 million. The revenues increase is connected with a significant increase of Group’s covered amount of work in 2010.

The Group’s operating expenses have increased by 24,5% totaling $3,819.9 million. The increase of operating expenses is also mostly connected with increase of Group’s covered amount of work. Following the results of 2010, the Aeroflot Group’s operating profit was $499,4 million, which is greater by 80% as compared to 2009.

The EBITDA was $727 million; it is higher than 2009’s result by 58%. There was also an increase in EBITDA margin from 14% in 2009 to 17% in 2010.

According to CEO of Aeroflot, Vitaly Savelyev, the solid financial results of 2010 demonstrate the completion of all the tasks set for 2010 by the company’s management in the area of effectivization of Aeroflot and its subsidiaries’ activities.
