VTB Capital has decreased its share in Aeroflot from 5,89% to 0,04%

VTB Capital has decreased its share in the capital of Russia’s largest carrier Aeroflot from 5,89% to 0,04% in the network of the second part of REPO, RIA Novosti reports.

VTB Capital has become the owner of 5.91% of Aeroflot shares in the framework of REPO in March.

“Aeroflot’s shares have been placed at VTB-Capital’s accounts in the network of short-term REPO deal closed at MICEX ", - explained the co-head of stock market operations department of VTB Capital, Andrey Girichev.

The state owns 51% of Aeroflot’s, about 14% of shares belong to Alexander Lebedev’s structures and about 9% are owned by Aeroflot’s subsidiary Aeroflot-Finance.
