Russian Helicopters will deliver more than 1000 helicopters to the Russian air forces in the next 10 years

According to CEO of the holding, Dmitriy Petrov, Russian Helicopters will deliver more than 1000 helicopters to the Russian air forces in the next 10 years in the framework of state program. AEX.ru

According to his story, Russian Helicopters has staked at serial military production and this policy will be kept during all the decade.

«A rapid increase of helicopter production will be started this year. The problems with all the selectors have been solved. The model range has been defined. We are moving according to schedule. We have no problems with implementation of this contract. Last year we have overfulfilled the program», - Petrov noted.

The holding’s backlog has over 1500 vehicles. 214 helicopters have been produced in 2010 and the output in 2011 should be more than 260 ones, he added.

Russian Helicopters have been created in 2006 to manage state helicopter industry assets. The holding has controlling blocks of shares of the following companies: Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, JSC Kamov, JSC Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant, JSC Kazan Helicopters, JSC Rostvertol, JSC Progress Arsenyev Aviation Company, JSC, named after N. I. Sazykin Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise, JSC Stupino Machine Production Plant, JSC Reduktor-PM, JSC Helicopter Service Company, JSC Novosibirsk Aircraft Repairing Plant, JSC. The only company’s shareholder as for beginning of 2011, is Oboronprom. The total revenues of enterprises forming part of the holding is 57,7 billion rubles in 2010, the profit was 5,5 billion rubles.

The company has been prepairing for IPO in London earlier but it has been cancelled due to insufficient number of requests.
