Russian Kronshtadt Company forming part of Tranzas Group has delivered three helicopter trainers to Syria, Lenta.ru reports. The company’s CEO, Evgeny Komrakov has declared this fact. In particular, two trainers for Mi-17 and one trainer for Mi-24/Mi-35 have been delivered to Syria. According to Komrakov, the amounts of annual deliveries of helicopter trainers have increased $350 million.
Marketing director of Tranzas Aviation Company, Igor Strokin has stated earlier that Russia will deliver to Venezuela a batch of six helicopter trainers for Mi-171, Mi-17В5, Mi-25 and Mi-35 in the nearest future. The trainers for Mi-17 family helicopters will be delivered with class D movement system, which allows crew training without performing flights using real aircraft.
At present, Tranzas Aviation has a total of 40 orders for jet and helicopter trainers. These orders shall have been completed by 2014. Azerbaijan, Brazil and Cyprus are awaiting the deliveries of training systems.
