Volga-Dnepr receives certificate for carrying out airport activities

Volga-Dnepr has received certificate for carrying out airport activities in the areas of cargo servicing during performance of domestic and international flights. The certificate has been presented by Federal Air Transport Agency of Russian Ministry of Transport. AEX.ru

The certificate allows Volga-Dnepr to carry out handling and loading of cargo at the airports of Russia independently without participation of any outside organizations. It will help to increase operating efficiency of airline’s cargo aircraft by decreasing the standby time and expenditures for transportation management. In addition, Volga-Dnepr may provide airport services to the third parties.

Acquisition of certificate for carrying out airport activities by Volga-Dnepr is an additional step towards realization of Volga-Dnepr Group’s development concept as a “cargo supermarket”. The right to carry out airport activities will significantly improve Volga-Dnepr’s capabilities as an operator and will increase its competitive advantages.
