Sheremetyevo international airport has summed up the results of financial and economic activities for 2010 in accordance with Russian Accounting Standards, the company reports. AEX.ru

The Sheremetyevo’s net profit for 2010 was 784,9 million rubles (93,5% compared to the same figure in 2009). The company’s revenue has increased by 7,8% up to 8 billion 565 million rubles. Sheremetyevo’s net worth were 10 billion 984 million rubles as of December 31st 2010.

The increase of operational costs connected with severization of requirements for provided services quality, has seriously influenced Sheremetyevo’s net profit.

Revenues from non-aviation business were 3 billion 418 million rubles in 2010; that is 14,7% greater than the same figure in 2009. Following the results of 2010, non-aviation revenues form 40% of the airport’s total revenues. The high rates of expansion for non-aviation business testify that the efficiency of using the commercial facilities and new possibilities for airport’s business partners has increased.

The formation of South passenger terminal in Sheremetyevo has been completed in 2010 (it includes terminals D, E, F and a rail-road terminal «Aeroexpress»). New commercial and terminal facilities have been put into operation. Thus, Sheremetyevo has become the largest passenger hub in Eastern Europe and the effective platform for airlines’ and their partners’ business development.
