A group of inspectors from Turkey and USA has begun flights over Russia

The group of inspectors from Turkey and USA has begun survey flights above the territory of Russian Federation using Turkish surveillance aircraft СN-235 in the network of international agreement in the area of open-skies, RIA Novosti reports.

"During the period from April 25th till April 29th the group of inspectors from Turkey and USA will be performing survey flights above Russian territory using Turkish surveillance aircraft СN-235 in the network of international agreement in the area of open-skies. During the flight on the approved route, Russian specialists will be onboard for controlling the observation of agreement’s clauses using special surveillance equipment ", - Russian Ministry of Defense reports.

Russian specialists have taken part in an international inspection of СN-235 aircraft and its equipment. This fact excludes possibility of using any equipment not specified in the agreement, Ministry of Defense notes.
