VIM Airlines has drawn confirmation from IATA regarding its inclusion in IOSA Registry, after passing an international audit on its conformity to ISARP’s operational safety standards on March 5th 2010, the company reports. AEX.ru
The IOSA certificate has been solemnly presented to the CEO of VIM Airlines, Alexander Kochnev, by IATA’s regional representative in Russia and CIS Region, Dmitry Shamraev.
IOSA is an operational safety audit program created by International Air Transport Association (IATA Operational Safety Audit), intended for assessment of operational control systems and control of the carriers’ activities. IOSA’s standard requirements, designed for airlines, help provide the high level of flight safety.
The IOSA’s certificate acquisition by the company is an act of IATA’s acknowledgement of VIM Airline’s provided services safety, the company’s representative noted.
