«C-check is one of the most complicated forms of technical maintenance of aircraft. The S7 Engineering’s branch at Mineralnye Vody is certified for carrying out of repair and maintenance of Boeing 737’s different modifications. Our branch has successfully passed an audit for obtaining certificate for servicing Airbus A320 family aircraft at the beginning of April. We plan that all the forms of technical maintenance performed by S7 Engineering will be carried out on the branch’s basis in future», - noted the CEO of S7 Engineering, Evgeniy Kochetov.
The S7 Engineering’s branch at Mineralnye Vody plans to obtain the certificate for carrying out С-check of A320 family liners in the end of April 2011. The maintenance of the first Airbus A320 is scheduled on May 2011.
S7 Engineering provides full technical maintenance and repair of Boeing 737СL and NG aircraft and Airbus A320 family. S7 Engineering has already carried out the С-check of seven Russian airlines’ aircrafts in the first quarter of 2011.
С-check is the form of aircraft technical maintenance. It is carried out every 15 months or every 4 000 hours of flight time for Boeing 737, and every 20 months for A319. This form is being divided into С1, С2, С4, С6 and С8. The volume of works increases with the figure in the form’s designation. The less complicated form, A-check (carried out every 250 hours of flight time): А1, А2, А4, А8. An even easier check is Daily Check (carried out daily). And the easiest form of aircraft maintenance is Transit check — carried out before every aircraft’s flight.
