Aeroflot receives the award of Athenian international airport

According to the company's press-service, an A degree award has been presented to Aeroflot following the results of year 2010 in the category: "The most rapid-growing company of Eastern Europe in regular passenger transportation segment." AEX.ru

The award has been presented to Aeroflot by Athenian international airport; it is the third such award in the company's history. The previous two awards were presented to Aeroflot in 2006 and 2007.

"We appreciate the acknowledgement of our merits by the international partners, - CEO of Aeroflot Vitaly Savelyev said. - Aeroflot is the company of world level, which specializes on regular transportation. Traditions of the Russian civil aviation's leader, potential of our technical and manufacturing capabilities, aspiration for improvement and innovations and precise selection of employees help Aeroflot develop and stay among the leaders of regular air service ".

The award has been presented to Aeroflot for increasing the passenger traffic on Moscow - Athens route in 2010. Aeroflot did not decrease the number of regular flights to or from Athens during the period of winter schedule being active last year. In addition, Aeroflot plans to increase the number of flights twofold for the period of summer schedule being active.
