EADS engineering director Jean Botti and President of Skolkovo fund Viktor Vekselberg have signed an agreement on development of scientific cooperation. According to EADS, the agreement of intent has been signed in Paris on Wednesday. Pursuant to the agreement, EADS is ready to take part in Skolkovo innovation center's activities being created in Moscow Region and aimed at development and commercialization of high technologies.
According to the agreement, EADS' representative office in Skolkovo will carry out research in such areas as aerospace technologies, including telecommunications and navigation; energy performance technologies and information technologies. In addition, research facility of EADS will search for technologies and developments, that may help in development of respective industries, in association with Skolkovo institute of technologies and other Russian research and development.
