After considering the results of passengers' ballot in the network of international contest World Airport Awards 2011, Moscow Domodedovo airport has been scored as the best airport in Eastern Europe. AEX.ru

According to Skytrax's rating, Domodedovo keeps its position among three best airports of Eastern Europe since 2004. Moscow Domodedovo airport has been scored as the best airport of Eastern Europe for the second consecutive year.

Independent research company Skytrax Research is the organizer of this annual international contest.

SkyTrax's research estimates the travelers' experience gained from using services of different airports all over the world - check-in, arrival, transfer,
departure, etc.

Skytrax Research carries out annual survey estimating the quality of airports' service and comfort level of passenger terminals using tens of parameters. 240 airports have taken part in the research this time along with 11,38 million passengers from more than 100 countries.

The Skytrax World Airport Awards 2011 ceremony has been held in Copenhagen on March 30th.
