$120 mln will be allocated for construction of Vostochny cosmodrome's facilities in 2011

According to Roscosmos' press-service, governor of Amur region has reported that 3.6 billion rubles will be allocated for construction of Vostochny cosmodrome's facilities in 2011. AEX.ru

It is planned to allocate 3.6 billion rubles ($120 mln) for development of Vostchny Cosmodrome's facilities. The governor of Amur region, O.N.Kozhemyako, has announced this fact during All-Russian space innovation convent, held in Amur River region at the moment.

"It is planned to draw 3.6 billion rubles ($120 mln) during 2011. 1.6 billion ($53 mln) will be allocated for construction of cosmodrome's top-priority supporting facilities, including infrastructure, roads, and for working documentation evaluation. The program proceeds in accordance with schedule", - Oleg Kozhemyako noted.

According to him, the construction work on Vostochny will start this summer.
