International credit rating agency Fitch has confirmed that Aeroflot's rating is at BB+ level in the network of annual monitoring, the company's representative said.

In spite of political and other events in the Middle East, Northern Africa and Japan resulting in oil price increase and thereby increase of airlines' costs, Fitch's assessment confirms that the agency's analytics are confident of Aeroflot's stability.

Fitch's assessment also confirms the opinion that potential risks connected with integration of Russian Technologies State company's airlines into Aeroflot group are to a great extent mitigated by the governmental program for supporting the aircraft industry and the program for transport infrastructure development, Aeroflot believes.

"The credit rating level reflects the acknowledgement of company's management policy in the area of mergers and acquisitions, particularly the Aeroflot management's strategy in the area of formation and maintenance of Group's financial security", - reported in the message from Aeroflot's press-service.
