Aeroflot becomes part of world rating of 5 airlines with the best cuisine

According to Aeroflot's press service, Aeroflot - Russian airlines has taken the fourth place in world rating of airlines with the best in-flight menu. Emirates has been scored as the best airline for in-flight meals according to this rating. AEX.ru

British flight search website Skyscanner.net has made the rating of carriers with the best in-flight cuisine. 1300 passengers have taken part in the survey. They were asked to rate their in-flight meals based on three categories; taste, presentation and choice. Aeroflot has taken the fourth place significantly outrunning its Skyteam alliance partners.

This acknowledgement reflects the company's philosophy seeking leadership in the area of in-flight service quality. Aeroflot has been scored the best airline among the European participants of Skyteam in the area of economy passenger service on short and medium-haul flights and also in the area of business class passenger service on long-haul flights for the first time last year.

Seeking to raise the reputation of leading company, specialists of Aeroflot and AeroMar create a wide variety of high quality meals. Aeroflot renews the in-flight menu four times a year. CEO of Aeroflot Vitaly Savelyev, regular passengers of Aeroflot, company's key partners, top-management of the company and mass media representatives take part in the degustation of new starters, soups, main dishes and desserts.

The current in-flight menu has been highly praised by the specialists and company's customers. It was made in accordance with the results of NPS study (Net Promoter Score) carried out in 2010, identifying the consumer satisfaction scores. The special features of providing meals in the world's leading airlines have been evaluated during menu preparation; company's regular passengers have also taken part in the group studies.

Aeroflot takes care of its passengers seeking to meet all kinds of their requirements and it plans to expand the variety of the offered dishes increasing the in-flight service level, said CEO of Aeroflot, Vitaly Savelyev.
