The official opening ceremony of Polet Airlines' representative office took place in Beijing. Polet Airlines is a world-famous carrier of extra-heavy and large-dimensioned cargo using An-124-100 Ruslan. The company has been developing carriage of packaged cargo since 2009 using Il-96-400T. Polet is one of the most important links of the logistic chain between Europe and Asian-Pacific region carrying out cargo transportation across Central Russia. "The opening of representative office in China shows the carrier's will to develop business of regular cargo operations on this destination".

Polet Airlines carries out two flights to Beijing and two flights to Shanghai every day carrying equipment, consumer goods and electronics. The company carried 32 182,399 tons of cargo in 2010 using Il-96-400Т aircraft.
