According to UAC's information, UAC and Antonov have signed a sale and purchase agreement for 50% of management company's "UAC - civil aircraft" registered capital on March 17th. A joint venture "UAC-Antonov" between Russia and Ukraine will be created on the basis of this management company after completing necessary corporative procedures. AEX.ru

The agreement has been signed by president of UAC Mikhail Pogosyan and CEO of Antonov Vasiliy Belinskiy.
This important step in joint venture creation has become possible after obtaining the necessary authorization from governmental authorities of Russia and Ukraine.

President of UAC Mikhail Pogosyan has expressed confidence that cooperation of Russian and Ukrainian aircraft industries will develop on a parity and mutually beneficial basis. "Creation of the joint venture between Russia and Ukraine will help us create a basis for consolidation of the countries' industrial resources and efficient realization of joint projects in the area of aircraft construction ", -said president of UAC.

This document has been signed for the reason of agreement regarding the creation of joint venture. It has been concluded between UAC and Antonov on October 27th 2010 in Kiev. Signing of this agreement has been attended by Prime Minister of Russian Federation V.V. Putin and Prime Minister of Ukraine N.Y. Azarov.
