Shipping of passenger aircraft An-148 made by Russia and Ukraine to India is planned on the summer of 2012. The press service of public industry "Antonov" reported about that following the results of participation in international aerospace show "Aero India - 2011".

"The family of regional jet airplanes of An-148 and An-158 promoted to the Indian market by "Antonov" and its Russian partners has attracted the biggest attention of the visitors", - it is said in the message.
"Experts have noted a number of these vehicles' qualities which allow to efficiently exploit them in Indian conditions", - the company noted.

The questions of creating the service center for these airliners and formation of the system of post-sales support have been discussed.

"Further steps have been taken in promotion of the family of An-74 planes on the South-East Asia's market, which includes the presentation of naval patrol aircraft project on the tender declared by the naval forces of India", - press service added.
