Aeroflot – Russian Airlines is inside the Top-10 of the prestigious world rating of airlines with the best in-flight menu, the carrier reports. AEX.ru

The British top travel search site Skyscanner.net has made the rating of carriers with the best in-flight meals. Passengers from different countries have taken part in the survey. They were asked to rate their in-flight meals of 19 world leading airlines on the basis on three categories: taste, presentation and choice. Aeroflot is inside the top ten significantly outrunning its Skyteam alliance partners.

“Seeking to raise the reputation as one of the Europe’s leading companies, specialists of Aeroflot and AeroMar create a wide variety of high quality meals in cooperation with chefs of the best European restaurants. The particularities of provision of meals by the world’s best airlines is studied during the preparation of menu and Aeroflot’s frequent fliers take part in dedicated group studies”, - the airline noted.

Aeroflot renews the in-flight menu four times a year. CEO of Aeroflot Vitaly Savelyev, regular passengers of Aeroflot, company’s key partners, top-management of the company and mass media representatives take part in the degustation of new starters, soups, main dishes and desserts.

As stated by the CEO of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, Vitaly Savelyev, the airline’s entry in the top ten of this prestigious rating reflects the Aeroflot’s philosophy aimed at taking leading position in the area of in-flight service quality. And it is a special milestone since it has been achieved during the Year of Passenger, announced by Aeroflot. This achievement confirms that the policy of carrier’s management is right for achieving the highest level of service.
