CSTS Dinamica has created a new training system for pilots and technicians of Su-33 aircraft. It includes the full-flight mission simulator, auxiliary crew station and automated training system for training of pilots and technical staff, the company reports. AEX.ru
The full-flight mission simulator is the main part of the training system and it has been created on the basis of modernized full-scale mission trainer, created by CSTS Dinamica in accordance with the order of Russian air forces and Russian Navy’s Anti-air Defense Forces. It has been operated since 2002 in the Combat and Conversion Training Center for Navy’s pilots, located in Ostrov.
Almost all the key systems of the simulator have been modernized; it has been equipped with a new more powerful computer assembly, new display system and equipment interface device. The display system of the simulator has been renewed – it has been fitted with advanced system for generation of environment pattern (manufactured by Konstanta-Design) and new collimating optic, the company explained.
The simulator is also equipped with auxiliary crew station, which allows carrying out a joint training of two crews simultaneously. The functionality capabilities of the simulator have been significantly improved by the modernization.
The training system may be integrated in other training systems of any complexity. It has an object model, which allows it to work with other systems in a single informative analog environment on the basis of HLA (High Level Architecture). The fully immersive informative analog environment has been developed for the first time in the history of native simulators by Konstanta-Design.
The preliminary testing is currently underway and the next phase is state testing of the simulator, CSTS Dinamica stated.
