Aeroflot’s Sukhoi Superjet 100 has started performing international flights

Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft (RA 89002, MSN 95010) of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines has performed flight number SU391/392 on route Moscow – Oslo - Moscow, laying the foundation for regular international flights of these jets. It is expected that Aeroflot’s SSJ100s will start flying to Budapest in 2011, press-service of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCA) reports. AEX.ru

«Start of SSJ100’s international flights confirms the confidence of Aeroflot in the reliability of our aircraft. We believe that SSJ100 liners will effectively perform international and domestic flights and we will do our best to make our jets meet the expectations of the airline», - president of SCA, Vladimir Prisyazhnuk, noted.

Aeroflot is operating three Sukhoi Superjet 100s, which preform regular flights from Sheremetyevo airport to St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Astrakhan, Chelyabinsk, Kazan, Anapa, Perm’ and Minsk. The first international flight of SSJ100 has been performed on December 4th.

«Operation of SSJ100 by Aeroflot has demonstrated the high efficiency of the liner while servicing regional routes with a high flight frequency», - the company noted.
