Two long-haul wide-body aircraft have joined the fleet of Transaero: Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 777-200, the carrier’s press-service reports. AEX.ru
Boeing 747-400 has a two-class cabin configuration with a total of 522 seats: 12 seats in business class and 510 in the economy class.
Boeing 777-200 has a four-class cabin configuration with a total of 306 seats. The first class Imperial cabin is equipped with 12 chairs, business class cabin has 14 seats and the rest 280 seats are located in the premium economy and touristic class cabins.
The acquisition of two liners is the next step towards implementation of Transaero’s fleet expansion and renewal program.
Transaero continues to strengthen its positions as the owner of the largest fleet of long-haul wide-body aircraft in Russia, CIS Region and Eastern Europe.
At present the Transaero’s fleet includes 77 aircraft: 21 Boeing 747s, 11 Boeing 777s, 13 Boeing 767s, 29 Boeing 737s and 3 Тu-214s.
