The first female pilot in command has come into being in Rossiya Airlines on December 19th 2011. Tatyana Kazachkova has previously being flying in Rossiya as the first officer for three years, the airline’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

Tatyana has performed her first solo flight from St. Petersburg to Kiev and back. Passengers of flights FV841/842 have heard the tender feminine voice from the cockpit for the first time.

«A lot of her colleagues including the head of flight service have come to welcome the female captain. The flowers have been traditionally presented to the new pilot in command. Tatyana has received far more flowers than any of her predecessors. And of course it was very symbolic», - the airline’s representative noted.
