The passenger traffic of Sheremetyevo airport’s Terminal D has increased by 41.7% in November as compared to the same period in 2011, “Terminal” reports. AEX.ru

The Terminal D has serviced 1 million 38 thousand passengers in November 2011. 640,3 thousand of them have made use of carriers’ services on domestic airlines and 398 thousand passengers – on international airlines. Thus the passenger traffic on domestic airlines has increased by 41.7% as compared to November 2010 (442,3 thousand passengers in November 2010). The passenger traffic of international airlines has increased by 29% (307,8 thousand passengers in November 2010).

The main part of Terminal D’s passenger traffic is accounted for Aeroflot. 876 thousand passengers have made use of Aeroflot’s services. Among the leading airlines by passenger traffic in November 2011 are: DonAvia (48 thousand passengers) and Nordavia (39,3 thousand passengers). Alitalia is the leader among Aeroflot’s partners from Sky Team alliance, which are based in Terminal D – 19 thousand passengers.

The forecasted increase of passenger traffic in December 2011 is 34% as compared to the same period of 2010.

Terminal D of Sheremetyevo airport has serviced 11 million 109 thousand passengers during the period from January to November (+34% as compared to the same period of 2010).
