Commander in Chief of the Russian air forces will perform flight on the Swedish fighter

Commander in Chief of the Russian air forces, General-Colonel Alexander Zelin, will perform flight on JAS-39 Gripen fighter during his formal visit to Sweden, «Vzglyad.ru» reports with reference to the official representative of the air forces, Colonel Vladimir Drik.

«The formal visit of the delegation headed by Commander in Chief of the Russian air forces, General-Colonel Alexander Zelin to Sweden has begun. This trip has been organized following the invitation from the Commander in Chief of the Swedish air forces, Major General Andres Silver», - he explained.

According to the official representative, «the event is being carried out within the framework of development and strengthening of bilateral relations between Russian and Swedish armed forces in the area of military aviation ».

«The Russian delegation will visit Malmen air base, Skaraborgs aviation flotilla F7, mission control center, aircraft overhaul shops of Swedish air forces, control and reporting center of Swedish air forces and Karlberg castle», - said Drik.

«Commander in Chief of the Russian air forces, General-Colonel Alexander Zelin, will perform flight on JAS-39 Gripen fighter during the visit», - he noted.
