Sukhoi Superjet 100 liners of Aeroflot have performed 1000 flights

Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) liners of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines have performed 1000 commercial flights, press-service of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCA) reports. The anniversary flight number SU824 has been performed by the jet named after Mikhail Vodopyanov (RA 89001, MSN 95008) from St. Petersburg to Moscow on November 23rd. The total flying time of Aeroflot’s SSJ100s during commercial flights is about 1600 hours. AEX.ru

«The 1000th commercial flight of our aircraft confirms the excellent operational capabilities of SSJ100. We see that SSJ100 is becoming an effective instrument for development of Aeroflot’s regional network and we will do our best to make growing fleet of our aircraft meet the airline’s expectations», - noted the president of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, Vladimir Prisyazhnuk.

At present Aeroflot operates three Sukhoi Superjet 100s, which perform regular flights from Sheremetyevo airport to St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Astrakhan, Chelyabinsk, Kazan and Minsk. These jets will also start performing international flights this year. Operation of SSJ100 by Aeroflot demonstrated high efficiency of the liner for servicing regional routes with high frequency of flights.
